Mr. Gurman has thirty years of experience in public accounting. He started his career with large international accounting firms, which provided a broad background in taxation and auditing. Mr. Gurman is the founder and managing member of Gurman and Company, PLLC and oversees all practice areas and delivery of services. Mr. Gurman also provides business planning services, merger and acquisition planning, tax planning and business planning and growth consulting services.
Mr. Gurman received his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the board of directors for many civic and professional organizations throughout his career. Mr. Gurman currently is a member of the executive council of Ruck International an alliance of financial advisors.
